Overview
The Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Diagram component is designed to let you easily create diagrams for every use case scenario. With this component, you choose from various layouts and add custom shapes to create sophisticated organizational charts, clearly showing the dependencies between all employees and management.

Data Binding
The Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Diagram component provides a templating engine and a built-in DataSource. This lets you bind the component to remote data by specifying the DataSource option.

Shapes
You can add various shapes to the ASP.NET Core Diagram component to personalize its look. Use rectangles, circles or any other shape you prefer and further customize the component by changing the background of the shapes to match the style of your application.

Layouts
There are three built-in layouts specific to the ASP.NET Core Diagram component:
- Tree Down—organizes data in a hierarchical structure (often used as an organizational chart)
- Tree Up—illustrates a force-directed layout algorithm
- Tipover Tree—layered graph layout (could serve as a decision-making flowchart)

Export the Diagram you have created to a PDF, PNG Image or and SVG file, directly from the browser. Customize its look to match the user’s requirements.

Powerful API
The ASP.NET Core Diagram component can fire a variety of events when the users click, drag or select an item. The API functions of the control give you the option to add and remove shapes and connections, zoom/pan, etc.
