The DateTimePicker enables users to select both date and time from a single control, making it ideal for precise scheduling.

Out of the box, the Telerik and Kendo UI DateTimePicker provides extensive accessibility support and enables users with disabilities to acquire complete control over its features.

The DateTimePicker is compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 standards and Section 508 requirements, follows the Web Accessibility Initiative - Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA) best practices for implementing the keyboard navigation for its component role, provides options for managing its focus and is tested against the most popular screen readers.

Managing the Focus

The initial focus is on the selected date.

Focus is trapped in the picker's popup. Meaning that once the popup is opened, Tab key will go only through its content.
