Usage Guidelines

The Telerik and Kendo UI TaskBoard requires you to follow some basic principles when using the component.

Badge

To improve the user experience and ensure transparency in task tracking, the integration of the Badge component is highly recommended. This small but powerful addition plays a central role in conveying important information, especially when tasks exceed the available screen height and columns become scrollable. It serves as a visual indicator that gives users a quick glance at the number of tasks in each column, promoting clarity and facilitating streamlined task management.

DoUse a Badge component in the TaskBoard column header to efficiently convey the number of tasks within a column, especially in scenarios where the tasks do not fit in the visible area of the columns.

Don'tAvoid relying solely on visual cues and omitting a Badge component that displays the number of tasks within a TaskBoard as this may lead to an incomplete representation of the task count, particularly when columns are scrollable.
