Team,
Am trying to automate Silverlight application. Application contains photos. when we clicked on photo, will get one more photo. All actions and verification are recorded into test but while run the same testing its giving error.
Failure Information: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Unable to locate element. Details: Attempting to find [Silverlight] element using Find logic (Html): [id 'Exact' silverlightControlHost] AND [tagname 'Exact' div][tagname 'Exact' object] (Silverlight): [name 'Exact' LayoutRoot] AND [XamlTag 'Exact' grid][XamlPath 'Exact' /image[4]]Unable to locate element. Search failed!
Please find the attachments and do needful.

I am using WEB UI test studio with Vs2010 & recording/playing Webaii tests. The script is not aborting automatically and log is not generated when Webaiitest has been failed. I need to abort it manually again. When Webaiitest is passed script is giving the log.It is happening only with failing scripts. Please help in providing solution for this issue.

Hi Team,
Telerik tool is not identifying pop up window opened after clicking on one of the the links from our webpage. Normally it asks whether to record steps on pop up window while switching to a pop up window but here no such option also being given. We need to do some validations on the pop up window and then close it , but tool is not allowing to record any step on pop up window not even closure. I tried to handle closure of pop up using 'Dialog Handler' but that also is not working.
Can someone please look into this problem.

1. I have done Data driven test for a test with the follwoing steps.
2. In Data driven testing if one record is inserted, then it logout of the application, and then continue the process from step 1.But i want to continue the data driven test within the Ui itself, no need to logout and relogin.I have tried with if..then loop, but its not working.
Please give solution for both problems..

1. I have done Data driven test for a test with the follwoing steps.
- Created a new user for my project with this tool recorder.(this UI have 10 fields)
- Then i have added 10 users(with the 10 fields data) in excel and connected with the test.
- While executing the test, it takes the user name alone from the excel, other field datas are not taken from the excel.
- Then it takes the 2nd user name from the excel and continue the testing upto the last user.
- Finally the test is failed.

Hi,
I have been trying to Source Control using the "Connect" button on the Project tab, however nothing happens. I had this working a few weeks ago, but i'm not sure what has happened since. I have attached the log file for your reference.

Hello all,
I love the Storyboard functionality in WebUI studio, but I am very disappointed that they are not captured at full resolution. Is there a way to fix that? Currently, my resolution is 1440 x 900, however, when I export the Storyboard, the picture that are captured are 1092 x 664. Is there any setting that I can change for that?

Is there a way to step into a test? currently, my workaround is to run the test, and hurry to pause the test, then go through the one step action, but I'm wondering if there is a way to streamline this process?

Is it is possible to run a Test in a list without a base URL
For Ex: We have Web application, the first screen is Login Screen, then from the Home page(using Menu) user can naviagte to various pasges: Page1(FileCatalog), Page2 (MAterials)...Pagen
When we Create a TEst list with Test containinng 'Login', 'Page1', "Page2"....etc, the test is getting failed when it tries to launch the Page1 test(which is present in the Static test list), because each test requires a base URL which is created in the Login test.
Is there a way to run the tests in TEst List without a bases URL or make the Previous test results a Base URL for the subsequent tests?
