The menu options expand when you place the curser over the heading, this function is not handled with Test Studio, if I click the heading to expand the options this click is recorded and the clicking of the option in the expanded list is recorded. However, when I replay the test and watch the browser I see the heading clicked but the expanded list does not open therefore not presenting the options in the list for the next click command to be executed, after the test ends I get message 'unable to locate element'?

Running an export test, I have a Download handler in my script to click "Save" after the path is entered in the Windows Explorer "Save" dialogue, but when I run the script, WebUI throws an error stating that the path doesn't exist. I've verified that path is correct and have tried the path with and without the file name included.

What am I missing?

I want to download the latest version of the Test Studio software, but the only resources I'm finding on the web site are for downloading the free trial. Will I have to get relicensed if I download the free trial again?

Is there a place to get the latest version that's not a "trial version"?

My company has recently purchased full version of WEB UI test studio. We have encountered an issue with the script which was recorded in previous verion. The following customize code was working fine in the previous version:

But after we have upgraded the new web ui version the same script when executed comes up with following error:

Please guide on how to rectify the issue.

I am in the process of evaluating the new TestStudio release.  I have a couple of questions.

We have a RadGridView that is virtualized.  I need to filter and select a specific row / record.  I can record the action to click on the Filtering button, but I cannot record any actions I perform in the filter popup.  No actions are recognized other than what I type in the filter text box.

Is there another way to find and select a row in a virtualized grid view?

           The dropdown values are not listed while play back the recorded test in WebUI Teststudio.
Our Dev team is using Third party control (Dev express) for dropdown controls. 

1.Mouse points to the dropdown control, but the dropdown values are not listing.
  ( I have  used 'Wait exectuion delay' step in the test, also it is not showing the values).
 Please provide a solution asap.

    I've had this problem a few times.
I record a button click from the blue nub.
I play back the test and I can see it not even try to click the button I just recorded on.
It can't seem to find the button.
What is a better way to record the click if the blue nub will not work?

I'm performing export testing. Is there a method for "looking" at a directory and seeing if the file I exported to there exists?

If the above is possible, is it possible to open the file I exported as a PNG and compare the PNG to the existing file open in the browser, or maybe is it possible to export two PNGs and compare them to each other?

Our application has combo boxes which populate with data only after another combo box has a selection - the contents of the second combo box are dependent on the value selected in the first combo box.

This means that after I make a selection in ComboBoxA, there is a delay for ComboBoxB to populate, before it is available for selection. How do I get the test to wait until ComboBoxBis populated? I do not want a generic wait for a fixed period of time - I want the test specifically to wait until the combo box is populated (at the moment, it's trying to open the drop-down before there is data present).

Currently I'm using TestStudio_2011_1_502_Purchease. Here some questions need confirm.
1. How to do the negative verification. We are using Telerik testing a website, in the website there has images, we need to verify the images are loaded or not, currently I am using If Else, seems that works, any good solution?

2. How to handle the image verification if the screen resolution changed or change to another machine? Seems the image verification failed if screen resolution changed.

3. How to parametrize steps? Some steps I want to reuse and don't want to record all steps, could I just change the parameter?
For instance:  Step1: Pages.x2011AppleViewFull.Click(false)
                       Step2: Pages.x2011OrangeViewFull.Click(false)
you can see there almost same just x2011AppleViewFull and x2011OrangeViewFull are different, could I use Pages.(object).Click(false)?

I hope can get response quickly, because those impact our work now
