I'm trying to create a very basic silverlight test :

I have a TabControl with 3 Tab items : two contain a textbox and the third a button

The test I created just fill the two textboxes.

But, during the execution, just at the moment where the test have to type text on a textbox, the selected tab switch by himself (here, from «Test » tab to «Result» tab)

Can you help me please ?

I have a table with three columns and numerous rows. The first column contains dates that are hyperlinks.

Is there a way to:
A) click the first cell in a table regardless of the date that is displayed 
and then
B) use the date that was just clicked to dynamically verify that the page displayed contains that date (the page displayed is a report for that date).

So you click on May 27 in the cell, and the next page displays "Daily Schedule for Tuesday, May 27th, 2014" But I don't care that it's specifically May 27...just want the first cell and then to match the two dynamically.

I'm having a problem when I'm trying to find a frame, it's the only frame on the page and I've set the Id, name etc.
But test studio can't seem to find the frame anyhow.

The page's url is randomly generated, ex. example.com/HtmlClient/#ad5cc2000 or example.com/HtmlClient/#e97792f1c
This issue might be mentioned somewhere but i can't find it, would be awesome if someone could help me with this. :)

Is it possible to run a list from test ?

I am having issues connecting more then one Execution Server.  
My scheduling server is on  Windows 2012 Server Edition I also have the Execution Server set up on the same machine and I am able to connect to it. 

On a second machine ruining Windows 7 I installed just the Execution Server (I disabled installing the schedule and storage) using the run tie edition. 

When I lunch the second execution serve and configure it to point to the scheduling server I am able to connect.  But when I go to TestStudio and try to execute a test list on it or even check its status it does not display as an available machine. 

They are both on the same domain and I have network sharing enabled.  I also opened up port 8009 for inbound and outbound traffic on all machines being used for the Test Suite.

Do I need to install the whole runtime edition scheduling and storage and all on every machine I want to be an execution machine? 
Do I need to purchase more then one run-time to set-up more then one execution machine?

im using telerik test studio. in my application we need to validate email textbox using databinding through Excel sheet.if we give invalid email address we will be getting an error message. if we give a vaild one and click submit, a alert box appears. im able to check invalid emails with that error message, but when an correct one is entered that alert is getting populated and that is not getting detected in telerik.im struck here and can u please suggest a way to resolve this.

Can a dynamic test list be created for manual tests? I do not see anything in the documentation that specifically says it cannot be done (http://docs.telerik.com/teststudio/user-guide/test-execution/standalone-test-lists.aspx#Dynamic), but my manual tests are not returned in the query results on the Add Dynamic Test List screen.

     I have a project that uses a WPF client to place information in a database, the information is then viewable in the form of reports presented in a browser session. I have a web test that can test the contents of the reports, I also have a WPF tests that tests the importing of the data. The import test is a data driven test that is capable of importing different data with each iteration, the reports test is data independent and can validate the reports regardless of their contents.

My question is how can I get the 2 tests to work together?
Ideally I would like to call the web test as a step of the WPF test, but this doesn’t seem to be allowed in test studio so is there some other way that I can get the same results?

what I want is;
run first iteration of WPF test
run web test
run second iteration of WPF test
run web test
...and so on

This is probably a small problem that I'm unable to figure out. 
How can we make one test follow the other?  The "Test List" feature will run the list of tests- but they don't consequently follow-up where the test was left.  
I think it is something to do with- When we stop recording we close the browser to stop it. So, the second test we carry out we have to login again and It would expect the same when running the tests. 

Ofcourse the problem will disappear if we make just 1 test for our entire web-testing. But i wanted to mange the tests properly- making different tests, names.

If it is not clear, then let me know, I will give an example.

I'm starting this thread to get assist for entire VS integration.
I saw a blog by Steven here [ http://blogs.telerik.com/automated-testing-tools/posts/13-07-19/using-test-studio-s-visual-studio-plug-in ] and noticed that there is Telerik menu on the top of Visual Studio. 

My question is what if when- Test Studio is installed before Visual Studio. And also, Is it possible to integrate Test Studio with Visual Studio 2013 that is installed in amazon web server? if yes then how?
