Hi Karla,

Once the Scheduling server is installed and configured properly, you can connect to it as many execution servers as you want. The architecture is based on the master-slave model. You can read more about the Scheduling/Execution feature in our online documentation here and here

Let me know if you need any further assistance on this feature!

All the best,

Hi,

Thanks for the response. Actually after click on the "Configure as Scheduling Server" I saw a message that Execution Server must be run with administrative privileges.

I'm using version 2011.1.520.0 and I have a license for the product. Sot not sure if I need other version? or need to configure another thing.

Thanks,

Hi Karla,
the error message is not related to the version you're using. Your account needs to have Administrator Rights otherwise you won't be able to start the Execution Server. Your System Administrator should be able to grant you Administrator Rights.

In order to have multiple machines as Execution Servers you will need additional Test Studio Standalone/Test Studio Vs-Plugin/RunTime Edition licenses. RunTime edition is probably the best choice since it costs only a fraction of a normal license and it's designed only for running tests. You will need an additional license for each machine you want to use as an Execution Server. Please note that you can still use Scheduling with only a single license but the Scheduling/Execution server will both need to be running on this machine.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Kind regards,
