Sneak Peek of the ASP.NET Core Components in R1 2021

New Floating Action Button Component

One of the new items you will see as a part of the UI set is the Floating Action Button. This component allows you to set a primary action visible on the screen. You choose where to position the button, how to customize it and what main action to perform depending on the context of your page.

Bottom Navigation Component

In addition to the AppBar we shipped in R3 2020, we are adding another navigational tool to Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core which is the Bottom Navigation component. This control will allow you to switch between views and different destinations by clicking an icon that will navigate you through the application.

New Expansion Panel Component

We are shipping an Expansion Panel as one more collapsible component. Display any type of content by providing a clickable title which will expand to reveal the content area. The Expansion Panel is a perfect addition to your application pages and it’s useful for presenting single collapsible items. Below you can see what five separate expansion panels look like.

What Features You Can Expect in R1 2021?

You will also have an Updated Column Menu Design and the ability to Organize and Group items in the Column Menu when it comes to long lists of columns and choosing which ones to show/hide.
  • The ListView component will also be enhanced with a grouping functionality.
