Hello There Everyone!

We are looking for some help getting our Certification Complete and need to submit "verbose logging" results in conjunction with our WebUI Test Studio "harness".  Basically, the testing company needs to see what the harness is doing during the test.

Can someone help point me to how this is generated with WebUI Test Studio QA or Developer editions?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Kevin,

QA and Dev edition are able to generate a .trx file for reviewing the run of a test list. This log contains the most verbose logging options available to the tool currently. I apologize that there are no additional settings to suggest to make the logging more verbose than it currently is.

I am attaching a couple of examples of a test log file (one that has failures in it, both may be opened in Visual Studio). Is the data we provide currently with the test sufficient?

Also, what format would be best for providing this type of information (what format other than .trx would you like to see the test results in)?

All the best,
