Hi,

IS it possbile perform Database testing using Telerik Web UI TEst studio  QA Edition.
During our functionality testing, we will store some data in to data base.
Is it possible to check that right information is stored in the database in rights tables and rights format, is it possible to retrive the data and verify. Is it possible to check the Data integrity?

Regards,
Cheluvambike

Hi Cheluvambike,

First I want to make sure you understand that Test Studio does not have any built-in database testing features. We do have the ability for you to write your own code and call that code as a test step. Within that code you can do anything that is possible under Microsoft's .NET framework (which is virtually anything). To do the kind of database testing you are seeking requires you to write your own .NET code to access the database and validate the data it contains. There are lots of samples floating around the Internet for how to write .NET code to access a database.

Kind regards,
