Unable to capture the controls

Hi Everybody,

I am installed Telerik Web UI test studio today only. Application is developed in silverlight using composite application guidance.

1.Tool is unable to capture login and password controls and these steps are not loading under the steps explorer while Recording.
2.How to stop recording after my recording is completed?

Please help me...............

Hi prakash,

Thank you for taking the time to evaluate WebUI Test Studio.

Does the tool capture the other parts of your Silverlight application? Are these login and password fields contained in some sort of a popup window? Do you know if they are placed in a Silverlight ChildWindow object? If so your developers will need to add our popup tracker. This is described in this blog post.

Let me know if that helps. If you still have troubles we'll investigate further what the trouble is.

Hi prakash,

I'm sorry I failed to answer your second question in my last post.

There are two ways to stop recording:

1. Close the recording browser window
2. Pause recording using the Pause button in the recording toolbar.
