I'm trying to create a demo test and used your site. (http://www.telerik.com/automated-testing-tools.aspx) or (http://www.telerik.com)
When I run my test it always fail but the page is already loaded. Here is the error.

But when I run the test using the Performance Quick run it is successfully executed

I have custom method and want to get int parameter for it from Excel.

If I use following statement:


following error occurs
System.InvalidCastException: Specified cast is not valid.

How I could get parameter for method from Excel?

Can you help to record a click action for an element? Test url is http://wwwqa.ford.com/, and please record a click action for "Warriors in Pink" under  "More About Ford". Actually i tried to record it, but action never replay.

I tried this tool looks very helpful for tester and developer and interested to buy Test Studio, but I have few Question.

1. This defect work only for +ive test cases not –Ive test cases, so if someone changed and code broken then there is no way to I know, where is broken, there  should be some filter if I like to run only –ve test cases, which may have been fix now.
2. When I do recompile then my recorded don’t execute that code ( example I have Page A and Page B) 1st time I ran my both page and recoded, but now I changed page B and again replay then Page B wont run this time. 
3. There should also comparison of function between exe1New and Exe1Old, so I can easily check which functionally broken.

Hi,

First I recorded a test using a PC with two screens, then some steps were saved in a second screen.

When I pass the test to other PC that has just one screen, then the steps recorded in a second screen from the first PC, was lost in the PC with one screen, so this makes that the test fails.

So, I had to recordered again the steps that force me use a second screen, b/c in the actual PC  I just  have one screen


There is a way to manage this?   to keep the test running in the same screen, no matter if the test was recorded in a PC with two screens?

I know this is fixed in couple of releases back, but it seems to be I can reproduce this again on new internal build release 2011.2.1305.0. View log disappeared.

I get following error while running regular visual studio webtest.
"Error 1/4/2012 5:03:04 PM Failed to queue test run 'msbhatt@machinename- 2012-01-04 17:03:00': Unable to find assembly 'ArtOfTest.WebAiiVSIP, Version=2011.2.1117.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=14176981d1873d86'. US0280730-V008"


the solution does not contain any telerik tests or does not have reference to any ArtofTest dlls.

Hi,

I'm using task Scheduler from windows to run specific test list, but the thing here is that the test list cannot run if user is not logged on the PC.

I have marked the option in the task scheduler "Run whether user is logged on or not"  (see the image attached)

I tried used this with password and without it, and all the time, the test is up and run, but the results sent me to my email was fail, like the test does not run.  I just suppose that task run b/c I have the results on the email.

When I login into the pc and click to run the task, results on my email appear as Pass.

there is something in the configuration on Task Scheduler that I need to do, or the results as Fail are b/c the PC needs to see the browser to execute the steps??
