During quick execute, about half the time I'm experiencing startup delays (~10 mins) at the start of my scripts. So execution simply stays at say line 2 or 3, for ten minutes, before progressing onto the next step. And the first 6 lines of my scripts are, in fact, all comments. Btw, I recently upgraded Telerik to version .621. Also I've never encountered this problem until recently.
Any idea as to what could be going on? Or what to look into/verify?

I believe this is directly related to the Annotation button during quick execute.
When the annotation button is disabled, I never run into this problem
When it's enabled, I run into this problem at least half the time.
And I started using the annotation button only recently.
I attached a screenshot of the first part of a script, though it occurs with all of my scripts.

Hello Joel,
I'm sorry to hear about your problem. Unfortunately we are unable to reproduce this behavior locally - annotate execution works fine in Quick Execute with similar to your test provided.
As you didn't experience it before with the official release, what I would suggest is the following: we are going to release a new official release in the next few weeks, I'll let you know when it is out, so you can take it and hopefully the problem will be fixed in your setup also then.
Tell me if this works for you.
All the best,
Daniel Djambov

Daniel,
Thanks for your response. In truth I never tried using annotation during quick execute until recently. So I rather doubt that this was introduced with the interim build. Still, given that this is rather low priority, I can wait and try it again when the next official build is released. If it helps, I'm using IE8 and testing a Silverlight application.

Hello Joel,
We have released the latest official build 2011.1.712 - you can take it from here. Please give it a try and let me know if you still experience the same problem.
Another suggestion I would recommend in trying to exclude the option for the environment specific problem is trying to run your test against your application on a different machine and see if it works properly there.
Hope this will work for you,
All the best,
