Hello Ron,

From what I understand, you have changed the test's BrowserType property, for one of the tests, to Firefox. This configuration will be considered when you execute this test as part of a test list. In this case, the execution will consider the BrowserType property over the test list settings' Browser property.

The preferred browser for quick execution is configured in the Project settings -> Browsers tab. You can specify the preferred browser for this type of execution and this will be force all tests in the project to be executed against this browser. Of course, you can use the arrow under the Execute button to specify the browser for just this test execution.

I hope the above details will help you configure the tests, test lists and project settings according to your requirements. Please do not hesitate to contact us again, if you need further assistance.

Thanks VERY much for that reminder.  The dozen tests I created LONG ago have run so long without any issue that I've been away from the UI long enough to forget how things work.  But, that's ok, I'll take re-learning every day over pulling my hair out keeping test running :)
