SMTP screen is not showing during test list scheduling

Hi,

When I configured the scheduling and SMTP it worked fine. But now the SMTP screen is not displaying when I am trying to schedule run a test list.

I want to know if its my sytem problem or is it related to telerik configuration.

I have attached the screenshots of both when it was working and when not working and also of the configuration.

Note: I had to change scheduler service port to 8010 from default 8009 as the scheduler was not getting started. The old screenshot showing SMTP working 'SMTPscreen.png' was configured with 8009.

Hello Navya,

Thank you for contacting us.

This is because of the changed port. If you have configured the SMTP under port 8009 and changed it afterward that causes the issue.

1. Could you please stop the scheduling service.

2. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Telerik\Configs

3. Open Telerik.TestStudio.Scheduling.Client.exe.config and double check whether the port is 8010. If not please change it. 

4. Do the same for Telerik.TestStudio.ExecutionManager.exe.config file 

5. Save the file and start the scheduling again.

Hi Boyan,

Thank you for the reply. I actually changed only scheduling config file before I dint know that you have to change the execution config file too.

Thanks for informing me about that. And it is working fine now.

But can I know the reason why it stopped in the first place?

Sometimes it happens that the config file is not updated. We are investing it further.
