Hello Asare,
Thank you for your feedback on Test Studio UI.
Even if we add the requested buttons in Test Studio I don't think they will work in scenario when you have to select and deselect multiple steps. You can use keyboard shortcuts in order to achieve selecting all the steps in a test or select multiple steps. I'll demonstrate that for a test containing 15 steps:
Selecting all the steps: You need to select random step and then use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+A in order to select them all
Selecting multiple steps:
Here you have multiple scenarios.
Scenario 1:
If you want to select consecutive steps let's say from step 1 to step 5 you will have to select step 1 by clicking on it with the mouse and while holding the Shift key to click on step 5.
Scenario 2:
If you want to select multiple nonconsecutive steps let's say steps 1, 5, 10 and 15 you will have to hold your Ctlr key and click on each step.
Scenario 3:
If you want to select steps from 1 to 5 and then steps from 10 to 15 all at once here is what you do. Select step 1 and while holding the shift key select step 5. Then release the Shift key, the steps remain selected, then press the Ctrl key and click on step 10 (this will make steps from 1 to 5 and step 10 selected) while holding the Ctrl key press the Shift key and click on step 15.
Here is a short video on how to proceed and quick this can be done. Please note that it took me like 30 seconds to demonstrate all the scenarios explained above.
Hope this will help you out in managing test steps in the future.

Thanks for the video. Can you please also suggest how to deselect multiple tests?

Hello Anja,
You simply need to select a random test and all selected step will be unmarked.
