Hello Anshul,

would you please give me some details on the situation.
Are you able to schedule the the TestList but it never runs? Does the scheduled TestList just disappear when you click on "Reload from server"?

Also, if you haven't done so already please check out this KB article: http://www.telerik.com/automated-testing-tools/support/kb/resolving-some-common-scheduling-issues.aspx

Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi,
Thanks for instant reply. i tried with all approches.

I have configured scheduling server and execution server both on my remote machine, and connecting scheduling server using webui QA edition which is on win7 (local ).
here are the steps:
1) configure scheduling server on remote machine (rsdevdb-08) with details :
        -- server name: .
        -- DBName : WebUITest
        -- click on create database.
        -- service URL is: http://rsdevdb-08:8009/WebUITestStudio/SchedulingService
        -- register local machine
        -- configure smtp
        -- click on done

2) configure execution server on remote machine(rsdevdb-08) with details:
        -- network name : rsdevdb-08
        -- and other general details

3) connect to server using WebUI QA Edition which is installed on win7(local) with details:
        -- server name:  rsdevdb-08
        -- Server ports: 8009
        -- service URL is: http://rsdevdb-08:8009/WebUITestStudio/SchedulingService
-- project source: \\RSDEVDB-08\Users\jaina\Documents\SchedulingTest (shared project)

4) schedule test list using WebUI QA Edition which is installed on win7(local) with details:
        -- set time to schedule
        -- select machine to execute
        -- done

-- when i click on 'Reload from server' it will show all scheduled test lists, but it did not execute on server.
-- my execution server is keep on running on remote machine.

i want to execute this scheduled test list on remote machine.

Please reply soon.

Hi Anshul,
if you haven't done so already please upgrade to the latest internal build 1607. You can download it here:
http://www.telerik.com/downloads/nightbuildfiles/bcbc/Telerik.WebUI.TestStudio.Dev.2010.3.1607_Trial.msi

Does the issue persist after upgrading?

Check the Results tab. Does the TestList show up as failed (in red) after the TestList is supposed to have executed? If so please open the result and check why it failed.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Kind regards,
Stoich

I am having the same problem: the test disappears from the Results page (after waiting a few minutes beyond when it was supposed to run).  There is no trace of it having run on both the Test Studio machine and the Scheduling/Execution machine.  I am running 2011.1 on both machines.  (Test Studio 2011.1.609.0 and Test Execution 2011.1)

Please get back to me as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steven,

Please try to update to our latest release v.2011.1.712. The installed versions have to be the same one on both machines.

Now try the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Open the attachment and extract the WpfToolKit.dll on the problematic machine
2. Open the "C:\Windows\assembly" folder
3. Drag&Drop(copy/paste will not work here) the WpfToolKit.dll to the "assembly" folder
4. Restart the Execution Server
5. Restart the Scheduling service

If the problem still persist, please refer to this KB article for troubleshooting.

Kind regards,

Hello Karthiek,

First of all please excuse us for the delayed answer! Then i would like to kindly ask you to submit a new issue since the post you refer to is from over five years ago. For that time Test Studio is quite a lot upgraded and most probably the issue you are facing is quite different than the one discussed here. Please open a new thread and elaborate further details on your exact issue, setup, scenario, etc.

Thank you for your understanding!
