In some of our tests after a series of actions,
we are losing the storyboards, we get the 'missing image'
url in the storyboards.

(We are unable to replicate this problem as to how we get this.)

We tried to leverage the 'Recapture Storyboard' button functionality to recapture the storyboards on our test. When
we run this even though the test runs successfully, I cannot see the storyboards of the application being re-recorded.

what am I missing here? Is this functionality (recpature storyboard) supposed to work the way it is spelled out?

Hi Neeraj,

I am sorry you have run into this problem. Yes it is supposed to run the test and re-capture the all of the images for each test step. When the test successfully finishes it is supposed to go in and store all the freshly captures images into the storyboard. If the test fails for any reason then it won't update the storyboard images.

Would it be possible for you to send us a test that doesn't recapture the storyboard correctly? Place the .aii file, the .cs/.vb and .resx file into a .zip file then attach it to a new support ticket please. We'd like to be able to actually run your test against your website so we can reproduce this problem and investigate what is going wrong with the recapture feature for you.

All the best,

Thanks for your reply. Well you won't be able to run the tests externally because you would need to connect via some software that we install (VPN). Can you guys schedule a livemeeting or something?

If you guys can send me the email address of the person I can schedule a livemeeting  for you so that you guys can login to the server.
