Hi,

Object reference not set to an instance of an object error is shown when i tried to schedule my server settings in the 'Connect' option in WebUI tool.

Steps i used
1.Open 'Results' tab.
2.Click on 'Connect' option.
3.Select the server and port details.
4.Message is shown 'Connection is established' when i clicked on 'Connection' button.
5.I have given the Project source location and click on 'Register' button.
I got the 'Object reference error'.

Help me to resolve it.

thanks,

Hello Sabarishbabu,
we're sorry to hear you are facing this issue.
We're not  sure  what is causing it yet. It only appears under very specific conditions.
Because of this we would like to ask whether it will be possible for you to send us the project in which the problem appears. We can take a look and see whether we can reproduce the issue. You can just send the whole project folder in an archive.
Please consider whether this is something you can do and if possible send it to us before you try any of the proposed solutions. Thanks!

Could you please give us some info to help us better understand the context of the issue:
Have you successfully configured your scheduling server using the "Configure as Scheduling Server" application? To find out, start the application  (probably found here:"C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\WebUI Test Studio 2010.3\Bin\Telerik.WebUITestStudio.Scheduling.Setup.exe") and see whether you get the message shown in screenshot 1.
Does the problem persist after restarting of WebUI Test Studio?
Does the problem persist if you create a new project and try to configure your Scheduling Server from there?
Does the problem persist after restarting the "Telerik WebUI Test Studio Scheduling Service"? - you can restart it by turning it off and then on again: see screenshot 2.
We're asking about all this stuff because after restarting and creating a new project the issue disappeared and we could not get it to appear again.

I hope this helps - I'm sorry we can't give you a direct solution but the issue is very elusive.
Hope to hear from you soon!
