Manually add connect to pop-up window step

Is there a way to manually add a "connect to pop-up window" step from the Step Builder or somewhere else?

The documentation states that html pop ups are automatically detected, and using the record feature does automatically create a "connect to pop-up window" step that I can edit. However, I would like to add the step without having to record the click, because sometimes recording a click creates a duplicate element that needs consolidated.

Hi Matt,

Thank you for your question.

Let me explain that because of the specifics of the recording functionality of Test Studio product there is no possibility this step to be added manually. However, as a workaround I can offer you to delete the click step and keep in mind that the target element will be deleted as well altogether with the step.

That's a bummer to hear. It would help quite a bit to be able to add the connection step from the step builder instead of having to go through recording.
