Keep getting an error "There is no data to execute the test with"

I have Access Database Engine downloaded (32 bit version), still I keep getting an error "There is no data to execute the test with"

whenever I try to execute my test. I am trying to execute my tests locally.

Hi Prajakta,

I would suggest you to check back on the steps from adding external data sources to binding it to the test and then binding some of the steps to the data. Please refer to the linked articles and if you continue to experience any troubles, share more details on the topics below.

  • Do you see the data from external data sources, when you try to bind a test to it?
  • Prepare a sample Test Studio project with 1 data driven test and attach it to this thread as .zip file. I will be happy to explore it and advise you further.

I hope the documentation will be helpful to you and you can configure the project for data driven testing.
