Hi. I am new novice user to this tool and am trying to script various functions against a 2-dimensional chart in Silverlight display.  I have attached 2 images to itemize the problem I am having.    In the application you can "drag" a rectangle and release cursor which will effectively "ZOOM" in by expanding the X & Y coordinates of your rectangle to become the new end-coordinates for the X & Y axis. how would I script this in QA Edition?  Any help or tips would be appreciated.  thank you.

Hello Mark,

I tested this scenario in a Telerik demo Silverlight app and it worked as expected. I simply dragged the rectangle, released the cursor, and the app zoomed in. This was recorded and executed correctly in a step labeled "Drag PARTDragZoomLayerCanvasCanvas to application at (x,y) from TopLeftCorner."

Please see this demo app here:

I also tested your Scroll scenario as described in this forum post. Once zoomed in, I simply dragged the scroll bar on the bottom. It also recorded and executed correctly in a step labeled "Drag BorderBorder to application at (x,y) from TopLeftCorner."

If your app is not recording correctly, please provide access to it and reproduction steps.

Hello Anthony/Support,

Please can you explain more clearly, or provide us a video clip of "Scroll to the bottom of the window" feature?

Hello Madhu,

The Scroll Element feature in the Quick Task menu scrolls the highlighted element to the top or the bottom of the page.

Please view this Jing video for a demonstration.

When I execute the test the first time with the Scroll step enabled, Test Studio scrolls to the bottom of the Google News page before clicking the "About Google" link.

When I execute the test the second time with the Scroll step disabled, Test Studio does not scroll the page and directly clicks the "About Google" link.

All the best,
Anthony
