How to test video in Silverlight tool using telerik test studio?

Hello,

We have Silverlight supported tool in which we have one Video player and we want to do test on it using test studio.
But We are not able to run video while Test studio is running, even we are not able to click on Play/Pause buttons.

on our website with out test studio this video player is working fine. 
so can any one give us advice how we can test our video player with test studio?

Can you please clarify on the exact problem you face? Do you mean the Silverlight video player doesn't function while the Test Studio recorder is attached in IE or do you mean the problem happens on test playback?

Also is that a public application we can connect to and observe the issue? If you don't want to share the public URL just submit a private support ticket from your account. Thank you!

I mean the Silverlight video player doesn't function while the Test Studio recorder is attached in IE.
Actually when we run our application alone our Video player working fine but when we run it with test studio it does not function.
We are not able to click on Play/pause or any other functionality also....

Please give us advice what should we have to do?

This is not public application so i can not give the URL.

Hello Gunjan,

Is your video player like the one on our Silverlight RadMediaPlayer demo site? I can successfully record and execute against that page.

I understand your app is private, but can you supply a public site that demonstrates the same behavior? Perhaps another page that uses the same video player control as you? It's important for us to test this directly to get to the bottom of the issue.

Hi Sujit,

Test Studio is able to automate only WPF or OOB Silverlight desktop application.

If the player is created with one of the mentioned technologies then yes.
