I am trying to associate Test cases from Azure Devops to Test studio automation but getting attached error.

I am using default testing framework, Also we don't have Dev to support Nunit codings and that;s we went for code less tool.

But it seems some more config required. Please suggest.

Hello Thomas,

Test Studio tests cannot be associated with test cases in the Azure DevOps. This is limitation by design in the Visual Studio and Azure pipelines - they only support unit tests to be associated with the test cases and as you see Test Studio tests are not one of the supported types.

Thank you for your understanding in advance.

I am sure Microsoft is not going support proprietary products, rather than Telerik should have the feature to change/migrate tests to standard unit testing framework/files(nUnit/JUnit). Our CI/CD pipelines doesn't make any sense when test results against test cases are not updated automatically.

I am hopeful that you will include this feature soon, if not planned yet then please make it possible.

Hi Thomas,

Test Studio gives you the option to convert recorded tests to unit tests. However, maintaining unit tests may not fit your needs for low code testing solution.

And as this forum post duplicates the same conversation in a private thread, I will appreciate if we continue the conversation in the private ticket you have submitted on the same topic. Thank you for your understanding.
