When I created a test script I inserted "Image Verification" using Hover Over highlighting option (verify entire image checkbox is checked). When I wanted to run this test script all these verification steps were failed because Hover Over highlighting option in the web ui tool cannot identify objects properly (see attached screenshot)

How can I fix this problem ?

P.S. I already restarted my computer and restarted the tool :)

Thanks

Hi nastia,

This looks like a hover over misalignment problem. Please try following these steps to correct this issue.

Right, now my script works fine. Thank you very much for a quick reply!

A quick question: does it mean that my test will fail if I send a test script to a tester who has a different screen resolution?

Hi nastia,

No, test playback will not be affected by the screen size/resolution. The only area I would possibly worry about is test steps that actually move the mouse (such as a Mouse Hover step) and the zoom level of IE along with the DPI setting. We do calculations of where exactly to move the mouse to assuming a 100% zoom level and the standard DPI. Nothing else is dependent on these settings.
