We have a flash application which calls web-service data and video components that we would like to test.
Is there a way that web pages with Flash Application content can be tested for interactivity? (I'm think image verification?!)
Kinda straight user-interaction recording?

Cheers,
Rodney

Hello Rodney,

Unfortunately we do not officially support Flash objects automation yet. We have plans to work on that but cannot promise anything for the time being.

The current work-around is to simulate some Desktop/Mouse Clicks over the flash which is no always reliable and so not really recommended. Still, if you decide to give that approach a go you need to hover over the element (with hover-over and highlight mode turned on from the recorder toolbar) so that you can get the element blue nob in a second. Click that then choose the Mouse Actions menu from the list and proceed with the exact mouse actions you want to simulate. You will be asked whether to click on specific point or in the center of the element rectangle.

I hope this info helps!
