When I try to Execute a test run, it keeps immediately  Failing saying "Fail - 0 passed of total 0 executed". When I keep cliking the Execute several times (5-10 times) it finally does run the test. This is the error message in the log. Any ideas?

Hello Sam,

Thanks for the post and question, and for your trial of WebUI Test Studio. Could you please reply back with which version of Windows you are using and if the user account  you are using for WebUI is part of the Admin Group for the machine? Also, using VSTS execution for your tests should avoid this error, but let us know also if the error occurs on this execution as well.

Sincerely,
Nelson Sin

I am using Windows XP Professional SP3 with 1GB RAM, the user account I am using is in the Administrator group for the computer. I am using the WebUI QA trial edition. How do I do VSTS execution for the WebUI QA Edition?

Hello again Sam,

Sorry about the VSTS mention, that would be in the Dev WebUI version. For QA edition, is this also happening when executing the test as part of a test list?

And could you try adding exceptions in Windows Firewall for the following:

-ArtOfTest.Runner.exe
-ArtOfTest.WebAii.HttpProxy.exe
-Telerik.WebUITestStudio.exe

They should be located in: Program Files\Telerik\WebUI Test Studio 2010.1\Bin

I've upgraded to a more powerful computer (3GHz and 2GB Ram), seems to be working much better now.
