Hi,

I am using Test Studio_Ultimate_2014_4_1411_Trial version.

I have installed the updated versions of Telerik test studio Extensions in my Chrome

browser(Default Browser Version 43.0.2342.2 dev-m).

During Test execution the extensions crashed and the test was closed. I can't get the

expected results.

Could you please tel me how can I resolve this Issue?

Thanks
Saravanan

Hi Saravanan,

It seems you are running a developer/beta version of Google Chrome as seen in the version you are running: Version 43.0.2342.2 dev-m. We do not support beta versions of any browser. The latest officially released version of Chrome is Version 41.0.2272.101 m. Please uninstall the developer version of Chrome and switch to the official release of Chrome.

Hello Saravanan,

I am sorry but no new screen shots managed to come through. Did you already revert to an official release of Google Chrome?

Hi Saravanan,

Thank you for the new screen shots, as well as using the current release version of Google Chrome.

I must admit I've never seen our extension "crash" and you have to reload it like that. This will be more difficult to understand why it is behaving this way.

I have a few questions:

1) Does this happen on any website? What if you record some tests and play them back using Amazon.com instead of your own web application?
2) Is there a publicly accessible URL I can connect to that would reproduce this extension crash?

Hi Cody,

Thanks for your Reply.

This is not happen for any other particular website. When I am writing the script and browsing something in the browser this happen frequently.

Even the time when I was not working with test studio also the extensions crashed.

Then I went to the extension page and reload that extensions. Afterwards i was able run the test successfully.

This was not happen for only Recorder, Playback also crashed many times.

So tel me the permanent solution for this problem.

Thanks
Saravanan

Hi Saravanan,

Since we have never seen this before, we don't know how to fix the problem. We'll need to reproduce this problem on our machine so we can dig into what is causing it. Once we figure out what is causing it then we can provide you with a permanent solution.

What website are you testing? Is there a publicly accessible URL we can connect to so we can try and reproduce this problem?
