I have my tests in my PC and running them daily. Since it takes a lot of time , I cannot parallely do other jobs.

So I decided to run the tests in remote machine with the Project stored in my Pc.

Hello Nithya,

I am happy to help you with remote test execution setup and schedule your test lists for daily runs. Please find more details in the steps below.

  1. Lets call the machine with Test Studio Machine A and the execution machine - Machine B. You need to have the scheduling service and storage server components installed on Machine A and Test Studio Run-Time, Web & Desktop or Ultimate installed on Machine B.
  2. Next step is to configure the storage and scheduling services on Machine A.
  3. Now that you have the scheduling service up and running, you need to create the execution server on Machine B and connect it to the scheduling.
  4. Connect your project on Machine A to the scheduling server with the "Run remotely" option.
  5. This completes the scheduling setup and you can create test lists and schedule them fore recurring remote execution.

I hope that the above details will help you configure both machines and run the tests remotely. Please do not hesitate to contact us again, if you need further assistance.
