I have a load test created using existing webtest and also have added a data source to the test. According to what is explained here http://docs.telerik.com/teststudio/features/testing-types/load-testing/data-driving, It should take values from the data source and keep changing the URL for every other virtual user. But In the reports, I can only see the one which I recorded in the script actually.

Can you tell how to achieve the data driven test in this situation,

Hello Satpreet,

Thank you for providing additional resources. However the data source is not included and I am unable to see which part of the test is actually data bound.

Therefore I would like to kindly ask you to record a short video demonstrating what dynamic targets you have data bound and what your expectations for the results are and what the actual are. We recommend using Jing as a free and easy to share online video recording tool.

Thanks!

Hi Elena,

Please see the attachments below if they make anything clear to you. "HWIds.csv" is the file that I am binding with this load test. ".DataBinding.jpg" is the screenshot showing to what step I am binding the data from the file.

Other thing I figured out yesterday when I was monitoring on the server side is that this load test is actually taking the data from csv file and changing it for every next VU which is good thing, but in the log file or report it does not log the changed values of variable that we bind.It only shows the one that we entered while recording.

Please let me know if its still not clear to you, then I can make a short video for sure.

Thanks

Satpreet

Hello Satpreet,

Thanks for allowing me time to investigate and check on my end.

I was able to reproduce the issue and the results are not correctly displayed as you reported. Therefore I submitted a bug report to our public feedback portal on your behalf. Here you could follow its progress, comment it, vote, etc.

Fortunately the execution is in correct state. I understand it will be inconvenient for you until the results are fixed and I hope this will be soon fixed.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!
