Data Binding Issue - Excel sheet inside folders are not displayed

Hi,

  In my project I am using multiple Excel sheets in the Data folder.
 
  So I have inserted the Excel sheets in different folders inside the Data Folder.

  But when I used to bind the excel sheet against the tests, the folder or Excel sheets was not displayed

  Is it Possible to create New Folders in Data Folder?

  If it so means, suggest me How to bind excel sheet against the tests?

Hello,

Please note that you should not add the excel files into the data folder, the source files are added there automatically.

Please check this link on how to add external data source.

Hi Ivaylo,

Thanks for your reply..But in my Projects I have four different Modules.Each module having n number of tests..
 
So I have to differentiate the excel data sheet depends upon the Module in the Data folder..

Is any option to Add subfolders inside the Data folder and seperate the Binded excel sheets into that folder?


    Like:C:\Users\User\Documents\Test Studio Projects\Project Name\Data\Module 1

Hello,

You don't have to organize the files in the Data folder, Test Studio manages them automatically.
It is enough if you organize them somewhere outside of the project folder just for your convenience.
