Hi,
I have recorded a test and had a coded step. Later I tried to copy & paste. But that is not done properly. Why is it happening like that? Any workarounds are there?
Thanks,
Palani.

Hello Palani,
I am sorry to hear that you are having these types of issues with copying and pasting. With this type of issue, I would advise checking a couple of things:
Make sure that both methods of copy/paste are not working (the buttons in the GUI of WebUI Studio, as well as the ctrl+c / ctrl+v methods).
If neither are working, are you able to copy/paste a different test step? If this works then the step itself you are trying to copy/paste has an issue.
Finally, if you still cannot copy/paste, try making a new project altogether, recording a couple of steps and seeing if you can copy/paste them.
While I was unable to reproduce this issue locally, the above should tell us a great deal about the issue and what steps we can take together to resolve it.
Let me know the results of the above. Also, if you continue to have issue with copy/paste, can you provide us with a .zip copy of the project folder for us to review? If so just attach it to your reply.

Hi,
I used Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V Keys. Also used copy test and paste test.
Thanks,
Palani.

Hi Palani,
From what you have provided it sounds like there is definitely something stopping you from copy/paste at the very least within this test project.
Were you able to try the following from our previous reply:
Are you able to copy/paste a non-coded step
Are you able to copy/paste in a different project
Conversely, you can also provide us with a copy of the project so we can assist further with determining what is halting the copy/paste process.
Sincerely yours,
