Hi Sam,

Thanks for the question and your trial of WebUI Test Studio. Please check out this link on CI integration and the sub heading '2.2 Using MSTest'.

Let us know if you have any further questions on this.

Sincerely,

If I am using the QA Edition of WebUI, is there a way to start a test run at a specific time? I would like to start a test run every night after the nightly build has completed.

Hi again Sam,

Sorry, I posted that last reply after seeing that you maybe evaluating both versions of WebUI that you've downloaded.

For the CI testing you mentioned, you would need at least the Runtime version of WebUI Test Studio or the full Dev version of WebUI, both of which install with Visual Studio. You can then integrate your CI test runs with the nightly builds you mentioned.

If you expand the 'Continuous Integration' node in the link from my previous post, you'll find documentation for doing CI testing with TFS, CruiseControl, and TeamCity.

Regards,
Nelson

Hi again Sam,

Just wanted to check back with you in this and see if you have any further questions. After reviewing this thread, it does sound like a good idea to be able to kick off a test or test list at a specific time in QA edition. I'll log a feature request for this, thanks for the feedback.

All the best,
Nelson
