Hi Konstantin,
Hereby attaching application screen shot for your reference.
I am able to spy greyed objects behind the child window while trying to spy objects from child window.
I also refreshed DOM window twice after the child window popping out to the screen.
Kindly let me know if i am missing something.

Hi Varun,
Please right-click over the SL object of your application in the browser and click the Silverlight option of the context menu. Please confirm you're running the latest SL runtime as in the attached image.

Hereby attaching SL version in my machine. Anyway it is higher version than what you attached in your post. (i.e, Silverlight 4.0.50917.0)
I am looking to install the version you mentioned and will uninstall my current version. but to my bad luck, i am not able to find that version. please help me if you find out that version. (Silverlight 4.0.50826.0)

Hello Varun,
I just checked the child window identification with the WebUI Test Studio version you are using (2010.2.830) and installed the SL version you are using (4.0.50917.0). I did not have problems identifying the child windows that SL provides, used http://www.silverlight.net/content/samples/sl4/toolkitcontrolsamples/run/default.html#/Welcome.xaml
and http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#Window/UserControlExample for checking.
Can you check if you can detect and work with the provided examples? If yes, I'll need more information about the child window popup you are using in order to investigate. do you have your site public available so we can check it from here? Provide the sample scenario you are doing in this case.
