Can't see the Record Menu IE 6

I kicked off a recording of a test scenario similar to the one in the tutorial video. First, created a new project, then right clicked on it and selected "Add TEst". The clicked the record button and a new browser window opened. I navigated to Google.
What I expected to see is the little menu thingey to appear near the top of the browser window but it was not there.
So I don't believe I ever recorded anything. Why would the recording widget thingey not be showing up? Settings on my browser?

Hello Allan,

Thank you for contacting us in regards to the new WebUI Test Studio QA Edition.

Please note we generally don't support IE6 so if it's an option for you, please try with IE7 or IE8. I will check that with the devs and post back with further info.

Otherwise it could be an issue with the browser on your end. You can check the Add-ons in the browser. You should have those from the screen capture I've attached available and enabled. Please let us know if that's the situation on your end.

You can also try to repair the installation.
