Hello,
Is there a way I can install the 2011 version on the same machine as the 2010 version? It doesn't appear that is possible as I get a prompt during install on whether I should upgrade my existing version to 2011.
I am one of 3 people on my team who are developing automated tests. We all currently have the 2010 R3 version - I have the Developer while the other two have QA. I would like to test the 2011 version with our project and tests before asking the other team members to upgrade to it. But while I am checking it out, I need to also be able to do other work in the old version. Also, if I upgrade, my project file and perhaps my test files get upgraded and then I don't think they can be be used by the other team members with the old version.
If I cannot do a side-by-side install, do you have any other recommendations (other than getting a separate machine) to accomplish the above? Also, if you do not have a side-by-side install option, could you consider adding it - I am pretty sure there are other people in this situation.
Thanks,
Shashi
