    Hello,

The application I would want to test have to add data in a database.

Then, I would want to know if, with TestStudio, I could verify that my data have been correctly added to the data base without using coded instructions.

Actually, i'm using a TestStudio Trial and I didn't find solution in the documentation yet ...

    Thanks

I hope my english isn't too bad ...

    Hello Adrien,

Unfortunately you cannot accomplish this scenario without using code. Here is an article on how you can access your database in code.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Hi Duncan,

    Thank you for contacting us.

As Test Studio is an automation tool oriented in functional testing of web and wpf applications, verifying data in a database is still a supported scenario only with a coded solution. What I can add to the previously shared article is an example how to access an Oracle DB in a coded step from a Test Studio test.

I hope this will be also helpful for you. Though, in case of further questions, please let us know.

Please, accept our sincere apology in case this type of implementation causes any inconvenience for you.
