I have many tests in which I have to login to our platform.  Due to passwords changing I created a Test as a Step for the username and password steps which I reuse in all tests when I need to login.  The theory was I could then just update the password in the test as a step and it would matriculate to all other tests.  Individually it did so but our Scheduled Test Lists did not pick up the change and thus failed.

This seems similar to the earlier issue of test list not getting update with just modifying a test case it just a variation of the same.  I am already running the 2013.2.1524 internal build to get around other issues.  Do I need to just redo my test list to get the changes to take hold?

Hello Leonard,

I guess you are using a recurring scheduled run (appears in yellow in the calendar). You need simply to right click on any recurring scheduled run and choose the option "Upload latest project files".
Please check out the screenshot provided for more clarity.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for this information because I had the same issue. Can you tell me why this is needed and why it does not reflect de "Test" immediately? Looks like a little big of overhead here.

Hello Roel,

Please note that usually the tests get uploaded automatically so you should not have to proceed that way. Sometimes due to an SQL timeout for example it might happen that not all files are uploaded to the storage and this is a something like an additional feature that pushes all new files on demand.

Thank you for your understanding.
