I am evaluating the trial version, and I am unable to run a capture from my current version of firefox.  I have all the Telerik add-ons enabled and all other add-ons disabled.  Each time I run a capture, it comes back with 0 results.

Ideas?

Thanks
Steve

Hello Steve,

Please make sure you are using the right recording toolbar, which is placed at the bottom of the browser as shown in this article.Please also make sure the Recorder extension is enabled. Please refer to the screenshot for more clarity.
Please also note that if you are trying to record against Silverlight application this is expected behavior and only the navigate step will be recorded and nothing more. Currently recording against silverlight application is possible with IE explorer only.

Here we have a feature request logged which you can comment and follow.

If you are not recording against Silverlight application we will need the application log in order to investigate this problem further.

Hi Ivaylo,
  I don't have that recording toolbar in my firefox browser.  All extensions are enabled.  I have recorded my latest session for you to watch but it is too large to attach here.  Also, the application log link you provided is giving me a 404.  I also submitted a Support Ticket for this (819958).

Thanks

Hello Steve,

Thank you for providing me with the video and the log file, now I am clear that you are trying to record a load test traffic which was not clear from your initial description. From the log i can see the following exceptions:

[05/15 11:35:58,Telerik.TestStudio.exe(12780:1),Error] RegistryHelper.PerformActionOnCurrentKey() : Cannot locate SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Mozilla Firefox\extensions
[05/15 11:35:58,Telerik.TestStudio.exe(12780:1),Error] RegistryHelper.PerformActionOnCurrentKey() : Cannot locate SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Mozilla Firefox\extensions

It seems there are some problems with the Firefox extensions. Please try to reinstall the extensions as shown in this article. Also from the video I can see that you have a lot of plugins, please try to disable them all for testing purposes to see if you will start capturing traffic. Some of them might be interfering with our extensions.
Another reason why you are not able to capture traffic is using an antivirus program or company security policy preventing us from capturing. Are you using a proxy in your network?
You are saying that you are not able to capture traffic in any browser if that is the case then might be a problem not in the firefox browser but in some company policy settings.
As a last resort and workaround of this you can try to capture a fiddler trace and then import the fiddler trace traffic in the load test.
Here is an article on how you are importing traffic from fiddler.

Ivaylo,
  It started capturing as soon as I disabled my anti-virus software.

Thanks for your help!
