Hi
I have a radpanel bar which I populate with question descriptions using a session object according to a cover type selected "e.g. Motor".

When the page first loads the radpanlebar populates correctly and I can work with no problems.

There after if  I change the cover type say to "Commercial"
It won't bind to the new session object it reverts back to the last lot of descriptions.

I have checked that the session has the new values required so that doesn’t seem to be the root of the problem.
I have tried binding in the page_init that also doesn’t work.

I checked the RadPanelProposal_ItemDataBound and the XmlElement for the data item doesn’t change according to the session object.
Any advice would be appreciated.

The session gets set as follows:
xmlDS.Data = "<Tasks>" & XmlString & "</Tasks>"
xmlDS.XPath = "/Tasks/Task"
xmlDS.ID = "QuestionsXml"
Session(QuoteQuestionGroups) = xmlDS

Is there a simple, straightforward way of scheduling a test list to run at a specified time? The instructions in the blogs and Telerik TV are bit complicated (for me). I just need to run the test list in the same machine as where the Telerik WebUI Test Studio QA Edition is installed.

Hi,

           Browser is closed automatically at the time of recording the test. It is happenning continously when more Verifcations are used.
Then i want to again continue the recording for the test, its really wastes time and effort.

Ex: In my test i have created a reservation. For that i have used verification in popup window for more fields..at that time is is closed suddenly.

what is the way to resolve the problem ?.

Hi,

            I have recorded a test with the following steps in the Telerik Web UI tool but its failed in deletion step.

1.created a reservation for an user.
2.Saved the reservation
3.Delete the reservation.
4.Execute the test, it is successfully run without error on the created day.
  While executing the test on the next day, it is failed with the 'Unable to locate the element' error in log in Deletion step.
When delete button is clicked in Calendar timeslot, it generates the step with an no(automatically generated by recorder)..this getting is changed automatically on next day.

So i rerecord the deletion step again , then it works fine. Its hectic for me to do this daily.

Please give me a solution for this.

We are using the RadEditorSharePoint with the version 5.3.2.0__1f131a624888eeed.When we edit the dashboard unable to see the edit toolbar icons.This is causing confuse for the end users.Please find the attachment for more information.Please let me know.

Hi,

         Validation error message for the mandatory field is not shown when it is leave as blank while executing the test. Instead it is showing the 'cannot locate the element' message and failed. Sometimes it is passed.

Give me a solution for this problem.

I've created reservation in the calendar I've dragged the existing reservation using this tool, but while executing the test it's not working.Could anyone please help me to resolve this issue.

Hi,

               Object reference not set to an instance of an object error is shown when i tried to schedule my server settings in the 'Connect' option in WebUI tool.

Steps i used
1.Open 'Results' tab.
2.Click on 'Connect' option.
3.Select the server and port details.
4.Message is shown 'Connection is established' when i clicked on 'Connection' button.
5.I have given the Project source location and click on 'Register' button.
  I got the 'Object reference error'.

Help me to resolve it.

Is there any parameterization in Telerik.
I am looking for something like the following, supposed i have tests / scripts called login, DoSomething, DoSomethingElse
I would like to be able to arrange those in a list (execution unit) that looks like that in other paradigms:

Login("Admin", "pwd");
DoSomething();
DoSomethingElse();
Login("Guest", "");
DoSomething();
DoSomethingElse();

I would also like to have those scripts (for example) run as a unit using some other parameters (such as a configuration or browser)
MyList(params[ ]);
