Testing webservices with Webaii framework

Hi,

Is it possible to test webservices (or api testing) using the webaii framework? If it is can you please point me to an example please?

Hi Souvika,

Thanks for writing.

While direct web service testing is not currently possible with WebAii - it is only possible to test a web service if it generates any sort of output that can be consumed by the browser.

I have logged this inquiry in our internal tracking system to ensure our product team is aware of your desire for web service testing.

I was just wondering if there was anything new on this subject, since Jan 2011.  We would also be very interested in web service testing capabilities.

Hello Mike,

Unfortunately not. There is still no built-in feature to test web services.

In the meantime the best we can offer is to Invoke a Web Service Call from a coded step.
