Weird issue we're having with Test Studio: A navigation step that goes to a site that prompts for credentials is prompting for credentials before any steps even execute.
In our test, the navigation is the THIRD step in the test. That's when I'd expect the logon for the site to pop up and for the following "handle logon" step to take care of it.
For some reason, the prompt for credentials happens before anything. Even if I put in a 30 second execution delay as the FIRST step in the test, I am immediately prompted for credentials for the site that is navigated to in the third step.
My homepage is not the site in question.
I can even watch the console that shows you what steps are executing and I can see that the first step hasn't even popped into the console and it's prompting for credentials. The test won't begin until I enter credentials or cancel the dialog.
What's going on here?

Update -- Issue is "fixed". We had tried totally deleting the steps and re-recording them with no luck, but after totally deleting the test, making a new one, and re-recording, the issue stopped.
I guess it was somehow caused by calibrating the browser after recording the test, though I'm confused why re-recording the steps after that didn't work but recreating the entire test did.

First I am relieved that you found a solution to this logon prompt problem. I cannot explain why the test would be behaving this way. If you still have the broken test and can still reproduce this I'd be interested in taking a look. But if you actually deleted the problem test there is nothing left to diagnose.

Best idea I can give you for reproduction steps are the following:
Have a site that requires logon credentials
Have IE10 uncalibrated
make a test that navigates to the site (so your steps are now navigate to site, handle logon)
Calibrate IE, disable tabbed browsing
Try the test.
Expected buggy outcome is that even with a delay as the first step, you will be prompted for credentials immediately
No idea if this will actually reproduce it, but I figured I'd try to give you an idea.
