I've setup a db in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2012 and connected it to the Reporter just fine. When running a test the Reporter signal goes green to red continuously (unless I stay on the Environment window) throughout the run. Tables and data are showing up in my db but not on my Analyze screen in Test Studio. I'm getting absolutely no test results. Any idea why this occurs?

Hi Angel,

This sounds like the same as described in your support ticket (where you submitted the services trace log). I will copy my response there to here so the rest of our customers can benefit from our response:

Here is the core problem:
Message: Invalid object name 'dbo.Results'.

What that tells me is that a required table is missing from the database. Tell me, did you manually create the database and then tell Test Studio to use it, or did you let Test Studio create the database for you? The latter is what works best. If Test Studio sees that the database already exists it assumes all of the required tables and table columns already exist and will try to use those. Naturally it runs into problems if they aren't there as expected.

So my suggestion is to do either of the following:
1) Stop all the Telerik services, delete the current database, restart the services. Test Studio will automatically recreate the database along with the required tables and column names.
2) Reconfigure the Telerik services to use a new Database name that does not already exist. Test Studio will automatically create the database for you along with the required tables and column names.

Hello Cody,

I would just like to add up on this issue here because i think we are also encontering same issue with Angel wherein the Reporter disconnects and turns red during load test execution. We've already done the steps you mentioned here but it seems like none of them are working.
We've also done several steps that can possibly resolve the issue but none of them work. Here are some of the oprions we did:
1. Uninstall and install Test Studio
2. Restarted all services before execution and reconfigured the services to use new reporter database.
3. Re-installed the services from the agents machines and other machines that need to capture performance metrics

If you have other options in mind, please post the answers here or on the other ticket we logged (750400).

Thanks,
Cairo
