Just downloaded the trial version and I have a couple of issues.
Can I load test with the trial version by simulating 10 virtual users? If I can how do I do that?
I recorded a test of a asp.net mvc application and it the playback fails on a ajax google like search, I never see the ajax search results come up so the playback is not able to find the element to select.

Can't record tests in FF that I can see and when I play back a test in FF that was recorded in IE it fails to even get as far like the elements are off or different.

I might just have to try another tool.

Hello,

Thank you for trying out Test Studio. I’ve included the answers to your questions below.

Can I load test with the trial version by simulating 10 virtual users? If I can how do I do that?

The Test Studio trial provides trial owners with the same functionality they would have if they were using a full license. In a trial scenario, your machine can act as the load controller, agent and reporter. During a trial, you can virtualize up to 20 users. Consult the Test Studio documentation on how to configure a load test environment and how to add user profiles

I recorded a test of a asp.net mvc application and it the playback fails on a ajax google like search, I never see the ajax search results come up so the playback is not able to find the element to select.

We have an excellent article with steps for troubleshooting tests results where elements can’t be found. Here is a link to the article. The steps in the document resolve the majority of issues users have related to being unable to locate elements.

Can't record tests in FF that I can see and when I play back a test in FF that was recorded in IE it fails to even get as far like the elements are off or different.

Currently, Test Studio only allows recording in IE. We’ve had a many customers request this functionality so there are plans to incorporate that into our next release. If you are having playback issues with a specific test, provide us with the steps to reproduce and a copy of your failure logs. You can export these to file from the failure tab of your test. If any of the information is of a private nature, let me know and I can create a support ticket on your behalf to troubleshoot.

* Please submit separate tickets if you have multiple unrelated questions. It allows us to provide the best answer in the fastest amount of time possible.
