I'm creating a script that requires a click to render some objects on my screen to thumbnails. When the script runs, the step executes successfully as a "click", but the action that takes place after the click doesn't actually occur. I need the action to take place as well, and I'm not completely convinced that the actual "click" is taking place.

Here's what I'm doing.

1. Right-click browser.
2. Hover over menu.
3. Click in sub-menu.

Can you help me figure out what I'm missing in my script that will make this an actionable click?

Hello Tom,
it's hard to say anything definitive without take a look at your application.
Could you please provide as much info as possible:
-screenshots
-a video
-address of the app (if public)
-your test

If you feel this info is sensitive and you don't want to share it on a public forum you can open a support ticket. Support tickets are completely confidential (unlike forum posts).

Meanwhile you can try switch your click step to "SimulateRealClick" (screenshot 1). If this doesn't work you can try using a "blind" click as described here:

Hope to hear from you soon.

Best wishes,

I'll submit a support ticket. I already tried the simulated click solution.

Thanks.

Clicking to submit an issue takes me back to the main support URL. Can you enter a bug for me, and maybe we can do a Go To Meeting.

Hello Tom,
@Clicking to submit an issue takes me back to the main support URL:
could you please include some screenshots to help me understand exactly what you're referring to.

Hope to hear from you soon.
