Hi,

I am using test studio(2012.2.1527).  And using TFS to store our test files.

Currently we have about 300 tests. But every time very very slow to open list of tests in "Test as Step".

Could you help for this issue?

It seemed a little quicker to load if disconnect with TFS.

Thanks

Hi Seff,

Can you please clarify which operation is slow? Do you mean test lists by clicking on the Test List tab in Test Studio or perhaps you mean opening the "Test as Step" dialog in Test View? It will definitely help if you can attach a screen capture displaying the UI which loads slow.

Hi, Konstantin

Thank you for your reply. Sorry for the confuse.

The operation is to click "Test as Step" button in Test View and then wait for the  dialog list of tests . It will take about 2 minutes+ to get the  Select Test dialog. This is low efficient for maintain tests.

Attachment 1 is clicking the button.
Then need long wait for Attachement 2.

Thanks again.

One more thins is we can not do upgrade of the telerik test studio currently.

For last time we did upgrade of version, we found a bug. So it need more interview of the new verson by the team.

And the Result of Lists in new version is not gathered in one result file(.aiiresult). Which is not convenient for our reporting and reviewing. If export to Word/Excel, some called tests running result of details will be lost.(As far as I know, the excel only have the failed steps number and related exception happened. But it will ignor the called other steps in "Test as Step")

Hello Seff,

I just realized you are experiencing this problem with a product version from 2012.2, this is an year old build. The problem you explain has been resolved with the number of performance improvements several months ago (2013.1) so we have nothing else to suggest besides upgrading. We will definitely help whenever you need assistance with latest version.
