Run a single line in the script

I am recording and running against Chrome. During recording, I would like to run a single line of of the script. I have a problem clicking some elements like a button. The normal click does not work, so I have to play around with different javascript click events and have to run the whole script to get to that one button to see if it worked. Is there a way that I can play just a single line?

Hi Weston,

Right click on particular step and select run from there select "Selected Step" option.

Hi Weston,

Madhu has one pretty good suggestion. Myself, I would use the Run Selected Steps feature. Our recorder must be attached to your browser for these to be enabled.

Hello Cody,

The "Selected Steps" option says it only works for IE. I added the following extensions to Chrome.

Telerik Exploratory Testing Extension 1.0
Telerik TestStudio 2013.2.1210.0
Telerik TestStudio Recorder 2013.2.1210.0

Is there another extension that I need?

Hi Weston,

My apologies. I failed to recognize you need this feature to work in Chrome. You are correct currently this is only supported with the IE browser. It's is on our TODO list to implement this in the near future. Look for something around April of this year.
