Is there a way to publish output/results to a dedicated node which has executive dashboard on it using ArtOfTest.Runner.exe ? We are running tests suing this

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Progress\Test Studio\Bin\ArtOfTest.Runner.exe" ^
  root="%WORKSPACE%\test_studio_project" ^
  list="%WORKSPACE%\test_studio_project\TestLists\%TEST_LIST%.aiilist" junit ^
  out="repos\TestResults" ^
  result="%BUILD_NUMBER%-Results" ^
  xml html junitstep
If someone has tried it and was successful, your help is much appreciated.

Hello Rohan,

The ArtOfTest.Runner.exe execution currently does not have a way to publish results to the storage database, which can then appear in the Executive Dashboard. We already have a public feature request for that and there are other suggestions to improve the ArtOfTest.Runner.exe.

Please check the public item on our portal and add your vote to it. You can also follow it or write a comment, if you have other ideas or suggestions to extend the functionality. We would love to hear your feedback in this post or in the feature request.

Thank you for starting a discussion on this topic.

Hi Plamen,

There is a similar request which is pending since 2020 https://feedback.telerik.com/teststudio/1483391-publish-results-from-ci-build-to-the-storage-server . The product team should really consider prioritizing this feature now.

Hi Rohan,

This public item is specifically for the results aspect, but we are also looking to improve other parts and features of the ArtOfTest.Runner.exe. I can assure you that this is on our mind and we are considering it for future releases. That said, it is a big change to the overall scheduling architecture and that is why it is not implemented or planned yet.

Follow both public items to get notifications of their progress in the future.

As a possible solution, I can point you to the Command Line Client, which requires a working scheduling environment on your end. Keep in mind that this runner has different options, but it will publish the results in the storage database. Check it out and let me know if you have any follow up questions about it. You can also open a support ticket to discuss more specific questions.

Thank you for starting a discussion on the topic.
