Hi, I have a question about load testing with data(username/password). When I try to load test with multiple accounts(5 accounts as an example), if I run it only for 5 minutes it only goes through one iteration for one account, however if I run the load test for 10 minutes, it runs the test with two accounts. I was curious if I am missing something. I am currently trying to test an application for a user to fill out, which should only at most take 1minute. Is there an option for make the load test run until all steps have been completed, because if I set the load test for 5 minutes it will run the test for the entire time. Thank you.

Please ignore the question above as I have figured it out. However I have come to another problem. When I run the steps in test mode it works perfectly fine and inputs all the data correctly which I can see in the data base. However, whenever I try to run the load test with only  an account it does not input any data at all. Is there something I am doing wrong that can work in the test mode, vs when trying it out during the load test it does not work?

Just to add more detail into the response above, during a web test it works perfectly fine filling out all the information on the test site which takes an average time of 30 seconds. However when I try to do a load test for a duration of 1-2 minutes it does not fill out any information unless I bump up the time to 5 minutes. Does the load test usually take longer than a web test? I am very confused.

Hello Kyle,

Could you share more information about this case? What is your load test profile? Does it contain think time steps? What kind of information have to be send and receive?

Please, keep in mind that the web test is a functional one. It could interacts with the application's JavaScript logic, triggering some events etc. Beside that a load test perform web requests only.

Here you may find more information about load testing strategies that you might be interested in.
