Is there a way to make the tests created with "WebUI Test Studio QA edition" run automatically after the project build is completed.
We don't use team foundation server. We use Visual Studio 2008, CCNET (and SVN).

Hello Lora,

We have documented this in our current online walkthrough. Please take a look at our document titled "WebAii and Design Canvas and CruiseControl.net" and implement the data contained within it.

Hello Keaegan,

you point article about WebAii framework tests automation with CruiseControl.net. Is it possible to do the same using, WebUi Test studio QA edition (used to record tests) and WebUI test runner (installed on the CI server)?
I see that in case of WebAii, there is a VS2010 project file which can be build to produce dll. And then this dll is run with MSTest or NUnit.
But in case of WebUI Test Studion there is only *.aii project file, so it cannot be run in same way.
I try to do this ArtOfTest.Runner, but it seams to me that it not return sucess/fail code which can be handled by CC.net.

Do you have any other advice to me?

Best regards,

Bartek

Hi Jacek Karwowski,

I am sorry you have run into this problem. I have re-activated bug 61905 to track this problem. We thought we had this fixed but apparently not.

In the meantime you could write your own problem to study the contents of the .aiiresult file to look for an overall pass/fail of the test.

thank you for info. You mention that this behaviour of ArtOfTestRunner is described by issue 61905 - how i can access it?

Best regards,

Hello Jacek Karwowski,

That is our internal bug tracking number. it is not publicly accessible (including our PITS system). I will try and inform you when the bug has been fixed. In the meantime you can always ask for status and referenced that bug number. I have also notified the assigned developer that you are waiting for the fix.

Best wishes,
